As a result of the Maine weekend & the Beanpot, HE has really tightened up
Points - Games 1) BC 25 -19 2) MC 24 -19 3) UNH 24 -20 4) PC 23 -20 5) BU 21 -18 6) UML 18 -18
It's going to be an awesome race for the RS championship & home ice.
MC is hot, winning 5 of 6 and is now a tough team to play at their HS rink (believe it's a sellout)
These next couple of weeks are awkward scheduling but huge games, this weekend Friday/Sunday, followed by a week off and another game Sunday then the makeup game Tuesday
Despite dressing, Sullivan didn't play 1 shift on Monday night. Patch is now off crutches but there's no update on his status.

Hayes suspended indefinitely for violating team rules. Something about "training rules"...whatever the hell that means. Jackhat.

BCEagles.com charging for audio tonight (really?!?!).
Tried to listen to 98.5 but da Broons were on, brutal 2-1 OT loss with 30 seconds to go. 10 penalties? Really?
BC is out of 1st place for first time since October
Hayes, what a dope
As for the radio feed, ask Bates that's odd

So I wouldn't hold my breath on Hayes being back for a while which makes a top heavy team even more dependent on 4 forwards. Who needs to step up? Everyone's favorite underachieving Canadian, Destry Straight. Goalless in 7 games, he did have an assist in each game this weekend.
Quinn Smith has found the scoring touch of late with 4 goals in his last 5 after 2 in his first 55

So after tonight, the race only got tighter. If the playoffs started right now, BU @ BC for the first round, interesting to say the least:
Points - Games Left: 1) Mack 27 - 6 2) UNH 27 - 5 3) BC 26 - 6 4) PC 26 - 5 5) UML 24 - 6 6) BU 24 - 6 7) UVM 18 - 5 8) Maine 16 - 5 9) UMass 15 - 5 10) NU 13 - 5
BTW Sunday's game is at 4:00 on CBS Sports

I believe it's pretty close to a sellout if you don't have your tickets I'd call ASAP
Also the parking/entrance situation is miserable, I'd spend the extra time to get there early

How was the crowd? They didn't sound that loud on TV for long stretches - I could clearly hear several of the ref's calls, the band, P.A., etc., but the crowd seemed fairly quiet.

Also the Kurt Angle WWE music at every important moment was quite random. Its not as bad as I was thinking, but work to be done

With Hayes out, Quinn's production is coming at the right time. I believe he' has passed or tied Hayes as #12 has only 6 goals. What did Hayes do that was a team infraction?

Took a dump in a dorm stairwell after a few too many cold frosties... We've all done it or heavily considered doing it. Can't allow yourself a bite at that apple.
