Phil Kessel looks good on those big rinks. Kane can't even score there.

True. Shit.

twballgame9 {l Wrote}:Phil Kessel looks good on those big rinks. Kane can't even score there.

And smaller rinks when he is in the NHL playoffs. Which actually applies to both though I meant to single out Kessel.

That said, this argument has all the same qualities as Teddy's "LeBron isn't good" argument so it's a fruitless exercise.

And I still do both deals if I'm the Bruins.

Edit: But really people don't realize Kessel has been nails in every playoff series he's been in. Can't fault him last year for having Nasim Kadri as his top center, Phaneuf as his top dman and trading Rask for Raycroft.

thanks

I think Interpol will be handling the logistics.

The fanbase will jam the police lines and shortly take to the streets to burn the city down because today is a Monday. Next the police will open up an investigation and make Kreider go to Montreal on an off day sometime in the playoffs so he can interview directly with the police officers. Charges will not be filed. All of that but the burning of the city actually happened as a result of that. The burning of the city occurs as a result of the Habs winning or losing in the playoffs.

I was home sick yesterday so when I woke up in the afternoon, I read Habs fans reactions to the Pruce news on twitter. Twitter is great because it reminds you that you are killing it compared to most of humanity. My favorite part of the whole thing was that Kreider is a "nobody" on the Rangers goon line according to twitter. And during the game, most of the Habs fans thought that they had Subban crowding Kreids "for revenge" and not because their coach realized that they needed to do something about his speed after Game 1. And Kreider responded by pushing SUbban around and getting him to resort to diving after every other bump.

Anyhow, I also learned that the Habs had the pick right before the Ranger in the 2009 draft and the front office to take a local Quebecois kid LeBlanc who's still with their AHL team over Kreider. In line with their other Francophile moves like a portion of the fan base getting angry that an American (Gionta) being named captain and their firing of a coach recently more or less because he didn't speak French. It continues to be fun to watch them never win anything.

Correct, played for Harvard for a year I believe then bolted.

Edit: Correct, had an impressive 11-12-23 line in 31 games then bolted back to the Q.

The incessant booing last night was hilarious.

Kreider basically carved his initials in Subban's ass last night. The offensive dominance continued, but what was more enjoyable was the way he completely shut Subban down offensively at times. There was one power play where Kreider parked himself in Subban's hip pocket and Subban could do nothing to get away before limply collapsing on the ice as Kreider cleared the puck.

Habs fans are the worst. My favorite thing about them is the last two times they won the cup there were American stars whoa were the backbone of both teams and after winning the cups they conducted fire sales to get rid of said talent rather than have it sully the Rouge, Blanc et Bleu. Seriously, I think they got a ham sandwich and a bag of pucks for perennial all stars like Chuglios, LeClaire and Schneider. Brilliant!

Kreider is the best possible forward to go against Subban. Subban's game is all about speed at that size and that heavy shot on the PP. Don't take penalties and find a forward fast enough to hang with Subban and big enough to muscle him and the Habs cant' score. Broons had issues in both respects.

Don't know if anyone saw Milan Lucic's interview with PJ Stock. Essentially Stock called him out on him not fighting against "heavyweights" and his reputation for ducking fights against the big boys ever since Colton Orr beat the living shit out of him. What's funny is that Lucic didn't dispute that he hasn't fought any real heavys in a while, but made the lame excuse that "when you are paired against the other team's top line and top defensive pairing there isn't an opportunity to fight the big guys." What a faggxt, I hope some of Emelin's Russian mob buddies bust some caps in his ass this summer.

Ha. PJ Stock tried to form an opinion.

Lucic's also retarded if he fights a heavyweight but I'll leave it to you to figure out that reason.

Habs fans outrage/sense of victimhood is allowed to continue with Prust is getting a hearing for his elbow last night. "Non por Kreider? J'accuse! L-outrage!"

God forbid they have nothing to whine about.

I am rethinking my position on the Serbian Girl Beater's postgame meltdown. I have no problem with him intending to kill any member of Les Habs next season, but it would be better if he said nothing and then Pearl Harbored them. It will be interesting to see how badly Bettman tries to cheat in Game 5. Game 4 was a David Stern puppeteering Joey Crawford type of fix. Tonight was a Vince McMahon level. What will he do for an encore?

Yeah, I'm confused why so many people are upset that the B's didn't make a big trade. I think they've got what they have, and can sort out their age/cap issues in the offseason.

Rangers looked on fire last night, though. Loving what they've done without Hank.

Chiarelli is a whiney bitch but he is right. No way that he could make a reasonable trade once Mr. Burns told Smithers to put him squarely on the hot seat. Or is Neely Smithers? I guess then Larry Burns sabotaged the trade market for him. No respect I say, no respect.
