Because Americans haven't raped and pillaged Irish as much as we did Indians. At least that's the line of thinking that I believe is being applied.

Why do we give a shit what Indians think? Last I checked if you eliminate the faux Indians like Elizabeth Warren and Ward Churchill and the Pale Faces who claim Indian heritage so they can own pieces of casinos or sell tax free cigarettes and beer, there are a grand total of 6 actual Injuns living in the United States. Maybe North Dakota should change its name to the Small Pox. After all, small pox kicked the fucking shit out of the Sioux (and every other Indian).

Apparently they can't use a new name until 2015 so they just won't have one until then.

I dont have a problem with what Engelstad did. At the very least the school got a beatiful arena for a few years. The NCAA should be a little more reasonable. ND doesnt own the arena so they shouldnt have to change it.

Drunken Savages has a nice ring, and doesn't denote any ethnic group in particular.

was in the NoDak section this past weekend, they were absolutely awesome. By far the most fans of any team at the FF.

They also have skating cheerleaders who could probably skate circles around the umass team & line the aisles during play. It was hilarious to see campion aged men trying to figure out how to get their iphone to discreetly take a picture of said cheerleaders from about 1 foot away.

My thought is that Ron Hextall wanted to coach, but ownership was against it. So he hatched a plot to coach under an alias and a fake mustache and it backfired royally here.

really looking forward to Saturday. despite the big names, bc hasn't played that difficult of a schedule (only 4 of 17 games against ranked teams). probably wise with such a young team. but ramps up quickly with 3 of next 4 & 5 of 8 upcoming opponents being ranked.

obviously sucks with fitz having a high ankle sprain, i bet his time away is towards the six week end (or longer) of the 4-6 week timetable.
