We the time for exhibition is over and on Sunday BC's regular season starts. The game is @ 5 PM and is on ESPNU. I'm not sure if ESPNU = 360 but if we could get someone to stream it, that would be great.
The surprise of the exhibition has to be the return of John Muse. Rumored to be out anywhere from the first month or till the end of December, to have the healthy junior between the pipes should steady a young D.
Some notes from the two exhibitions:
The team genuinely looked faster this year. Last year was the first time I can ever remember BU being faster than us, hopefully that was the only year of that.
The Whitney brothers are paired together, hopefully this will mean the reemergence of Joe. Steve has a little Gerbe in him, a little guy playing with a big edge.
Kreider looked like the real deal against the U18 team, with two absolute missiles. Hopefully his performance will meet the hype.
The D should be an interesting thing to follow throughout the year, they are young but talented.
The team should spend a whole lot less time in the box with Petrecki gone.
Should be interesting to see the team play fully healthy. Between Muse's hip problem, and several players needing surgery at the end of the year; looking forward to seeing the team at full strength.
I know a bunch of kids going up for the first game, unfortunately around midterm time and a 4 hour ride to the Gut, don't see it happening.
