BC vs. PC

These are the games, they should win and hopefully they'll sweep for another 4-point weekend. I will drive down on Friday and hope I don't jinx them. On face, BC has a balanced attack with 6 guys with 10 or more goals. Almeida needs 2 more to crack 20-goal season, a nice way to end his senior year. It should be more wide open than the MC games. Schneider is not much of a rink to speak of but should be plenty of tickets available even though it only holds 3,000 seats.

Kreider did not practice today, Q for tomorrow according to the kid

Edit: Has the flu. Hopefully this doesn't spread around the team.

That's good. With the quick turnaround on Saturday, I think we can deduce that it isn't that serious. I think they would have held him out if it were, considering the risk of dehydration.

Apparently around 250 tickets left for tonight.

As you said on EA, this game has trap written all over it.

Something to keep an eye on: PC has scored a number of shorthanded goals this year.

Kreider is good to go tonight

Leading goal scorer for PC (and they're only player with more than 8) Tim Schaller is not in the lineup tonight.

That just makes it more of a trap game.

3-0 ho hum win. 1-0 in the 3rd and PC was carrying play but first shutout all year. PC really has issues putting the puck in the net.

BC clinches home ice in the playoffs.

I lucked out at the game, some PC fan gave me his ticket for nothing and I bought him a beer near section C. I was waiting for the BC Road Trippers to show up at Will Call with my ticket but I had no contact number with the guy who was running the group. In the end, things worked out and I saw the game for free via a nice PC fan who had extra tickets.

I fell asleep after the first period after Cross scored and saw the 2nd goal by Mullane and the ENG by Carey. Well looking forward to a sweep if they can win tomorrow afternoon.

UML lost to MC so that makes it easier for BC as they fall 3 points behind. BU won so they're still 2 points behind.

As a heads up they never check tickets.

You can act as if you are going to the will call meander around there and just walk up. There's no one there to even check tickets.

What are the game times for the NCAA Northeast regional at Worcester on 24th and 25th? Can anyone provide a link to a site that has the game times?

I believe it's 1 & 4 with the 1 seed getting the 1:00 game for the 3 extra hours of rest

Not to frighten anyone but a text with a "man town" reference made it up on the scoreboard just now.

Maybe they thought we were playing Provincetown instead of Providence?

You could give PC 7 games and they wouldn't put up 7

I've never been in love with Milner but I'm gaining more and more confidence in him (which really sprung from his Beanpot performance). Also the team D has improved greatly.

Gaudreau now has the most goals by a FR since Kobasew.

Have a good chance on clinching Friday night against UVM (who absolutely sucks)

I am just waiting for my eagleoutsider & fire spaz posts to go up on the board. I bet Vinny does the screening.

Have to admit Happy Birthday Pu Ping made me :laugh

Happily, Gaudreau is a less attractive pro prospect than Kobasew, so he's likely to stay around longer.

If Kreider is gone, and likely, we need offense from Gaudreau, Hayes, Mullane, Whitney, Arnold, and anyone else who can contribute next season. Also with Cross and Dumoulin gone, you lose some offense from the blue line. I notice his brother is a BC commit in one of the future classes. Any BU recruits decommitting from the recent fallout at BU?

So far BU is down to VT 2-0 in the 1st period.

Destry Straight and Danny Linell are going to start to hit the scoresheet next season. Linell had a nice goal scorer's goal on a feed from Straight today. Frankie Vatrano is going to be a big addition /scorer immediately next season and Mike Matheson is a talented offensive D-man who is really good on the powerplay. Teddie Doherty (D-man) is coming in next season and is not far behind Matheson in production. I doubt that Sam Piazza (D) makes it to BC next year as he has missed 3 months with a concussion, and needs to get healthy. BC is recruiting Colin Sullivan D from Avon Old Farms.

Loved that one too. My text did not get through the minnions' sharp eye.
