Both of these teams are horrible. McNeese is a lot more horrible than we are though.

They're forced to take some teams, one of which must be this awful bunch. Maryland blew this year also.

Well this is a pretty weak field - I had to force myself not to pick the 1s.

Yep, some conferences have auto-bids for their regular season winners to the NIT - that way you get a reward for being good all year.

McNeese is heinous, and yes they were an auto-bid NIT team.

You get an automatic entry into the NIT if you win your conference regular season crown but don't make the NCAA Tournament.

Congrats on the win Eagles! Yall were obviously the better team tonight. While I wish we would have made it a game, I can't complain about the season. Never would have thought after going 10-20 last season we would have won the regular season conference and hosted an ACC team in the NIT. I'll be rooting for yall the rest of the tournament.

Went to the rodeo last night, we hung on for a win, thanks to Reggie hanging on the stear all night.
Good fans, tail gate before game, play a bunch of "Big Valley" music.
