The 5 guys for McNeese that average over 20 Minutes per game (4 Seniors/1 Junior) are 5-10, 6-0, 6-3, 6-4, 6-7......so BC should actually have a decent advantage down low. The 6-7 guy did average a double/double for the season though 10.3 PPG/10.3 RPG. They shoot well from the line 74.5 percent, and don't turn the ball over a lot (12.1/game)

Nothing, but knowing how much a cheap cheese eating motherfucker Napoleon has become he will set up Conte like a game is going to occur.

Can't see BC wanting to play in this event...

Washington State, Missouri State, Colorado, and Cleveland State will bring thirty-eight people to Madison Square for a feverish final four. They might just and might as well disband this fucking tournament after this final four.

We will be dismissed by Milwaukee. We show no ability to hold the grudges we should.

We let Clemson Danza Slap us year in and year out and yet I watch dunk after dunk to end each of these rubber dick beatings we take from Clemson... i know none of these guys were around for a raping that was strong to quite strong on the BC ass jam meter in 05' Tourney but.... i would hope we don't shit the bed against this truck stop institution for life-time violent felons but BC basketball is about doing exactly that...

Prediction for the Milwaukee contest has us beginning on an 11-0 run until the only BC Alum in the stands informs Milwaukee that "this ain't the SEC - we're from the Big East" ( Thank you Sean Marshall ) and then Milwaukee goes on a 74-10 run while lil' Stevie Haley...err Biko Paris continues his attempt to digest the very perplexing intricacies of an undisciplined wild-ass full court press... A complete repeat of 2005 except we don't crack 50 points and we lose by thirty-six on a game with no live feed anywhere but on Green TV after the three o'clock test pattern

Seriously, though, why are we playing in Louisiana? I don't know how the NIT works (thank god), but this seems a little off to me. Nothing is going on at Conte on Tuesday.

The worst thing about this is that there's no benefit of developing the players at this point. It's one thing for a young team to make the NIT and they get more experience playing in March. Most of these guys are going to be out of the program in a few weeks.

And a #1 seed playing on the road? The NIT is such a joke.

The head of the NIT said that they give extra attention to selecting the #1 seeds because they're the ones that get home field advantage until Madison Square Garden. Do you think maybe we don't want to disrupt hockey practice for both the men's and women's teams who have a shot at national championships? What other explanation is there?

I guarantee Gene said hosting on 2 days notice (like we haven't known since Friday) was too much of a bother.

And if that is the reason, how do you think that makes Donahue feel? Could there be more evidence that basketball is the 3rd priority next to hockey and football?

3rd priority? Gene isn't even aware of a hockey program at BC, you can only hope that someday he will ignore the football & hoops teams too.

The NIT is freaking stupid for a team with this many seniors. It does absolutely nothing. BC probably lobs in another Ivy League type effort.
