I think what sucks the most is the waiting. I mean, there's still a sliver of a chance that we make it into the tournament, but we might not. It's kinda like if you're girlfriend is a day or two "late." She probably isn't pregnant, but there's that sliver of a chance that's killing you...

Just looking at them in a vacuum I'd agree with you. Too many times thy just completely laid an egg when they coiuld have pretty much controlled their own destiny, yesterday being the glaring example.

That said, with the expanded field and a lack of quality resumes, there's going to be a handful of teams who we would have snubbed our noses at in previous years that are goig to get in...Even among the other ACC teams (RPI 52, 53, 57,64-sos 74,87,38,95) three are most likely in...

Nope. Harvard aside (because it turns out they're actually good), no way we should lose to Yale at home and be two of Miami's 6 wins in conference. The reality is if we win 2 out of those 3 we're well above the last 4 in, and even if we won one we probably would have been fine.

Yesterday was a complete joke. The only player I'll miss off this senior class is Joe Trapani who actually shows up for every big game. We certainly deserve to be in the NIT. What the hell was Reggie Jackson doing yesterday? Flat out embarrassing for BC down here in Greensboro. I had to leave with about 8 minutes left, I just couldn't take it anymore watching this horrible team.

If you go off of Lunardi's last bracketology from yesterday, the one team i am concerned about is Missouri State. The #1 seed from the Missouri Valley has NEVER been left out as an at-large.......and Lunardi has them OUT as of right now.

Someone said Penn state is lousy.....sure, they won by scoring 36 yesterday, but they've beat some good teams this year. They have 4 Top 50 wins (BC 1), 9 Top 100 wins (BC has 7), and Penn State's SOS is 5, BC's 38. I'd certainly take Penn State over BC right now.

Here's Lunardi's updated bubble.. I can't fucking believe USC is gonna dance and we're not. We would beat them by 20. Same with Penn St.

I think this goes to show that if BC could have kept yesterday's loss to 15 points or under we'd probably still be in. Considering we're the 2nd team out right now.

b. isn't there a chance they could get an at large? (32 RPI is pretty damn good...idk i'm just guessing tho)
iii. I think Penn State will get bounced if they lose (hopefully by 10+) to Michigan St (which I think will happen)

I will say this tho...while Lunardi has been perfect in the past (i.e. getting all the teams who got into the tourney) this is a different structure. Thus, it's not ideal to use past records for a different situation. I wouldn't be surprised if he got 1 or 2 wrong if not more.

Oh, also Alabama getting killed right now helps us.

I dont know how much this matters but in terms of common opponents between BC and Penn St., PSU is 2-2 and BC is 5-0. PSU lost to both VT and Maryland (at home) who both were beat by BC twice.
