I think there is a good chance we lose today (resulting in no NCAA). Everytime this team starts to feel good about themselves, they pull an incredibly mind-numbing loss. I think that could happen today.

If they win today, I see no way we beat Clemson (which result in us having only a 50% of making the tourney).

All that said... if we somehow make the NCAAs, I think this team makes it through the first weekend. From what I have seen from D's preferred style of play, it is not one condusive to in-season domination, but it is condusive to deeper runs in the Tourney. In a lot of ways, it is the opposite of Skinner (whose tight-flex was consistently successful throughout the season, but not so in the Tourney).

Lose to Wake - NIT host
Beat Wake, lose to CU - play in game

A. Really surprising to see HJS predicting a loss. Never seen that before.
B. We are not losing to Wake. They are fucking TERRIBLE. Something that TWB finally realized after last Sunday (obviously, HJS didn't bother watching the game).
C. After we beat Wake, the Clemson game won't matter....BC will be in the tourney for sure. HJS' negative Nancy 50-50 shit is retarded.

Of course the Clemson game will matter. Whether or not it's the NCAA Tourney clinching game, it'll have a huge impact on 1) whether we continue playing in the ACC Tourney and 2) our NCAA Tourney seeding.

B. Agreed Wake is brutal, if we lose today we don't deserve to be in the tourney

I think BC will win without much trouble today. I don't know what to make of tomorrow's game. I'm tempted to say that BC has turned the corner, but it's just as likely that the team has looked good because the opponents are especially crappy. I'm having flashbacks to this disaster. In the end, I predict Clemson by 8 and BC sweats it out and is disappointed on Sunday.

Is that a prediction???? I am of the opinion that OJ should be banned from posting about other posters' opinions, positions and predicitions when he doesn't have the balls to assert his own.

For the rest of you... I think beating a team 3 times is very difficult... I think doing it twice in a row even moreso. Given our record against Yale, Harvard, URI, St. Joes and Miami, I think that beating Wake today is (a) an accomplishment and (b) was not a forgone conclusion. Further, I do not think a win today means we are a "lock" for a tounament where one conference will be stealing 10 at-large bids. That said, I find it incredibly amazing how OJ is only able to focus on the negative in anyone's posts. What a miserable, unloved prick he must be. For instance, I paid Coach D a huge compliment about his teams being tailored-made to make deep runs in the Tournament (should he be invited). Instead of focusing on the compliment, he focused on the "should he be invited" as if such comment was blasphemy.
