ACC Tournament

The "old league" as you refer to it as is never happening again until FB & basketball schools break off and then we would be with bigger misfits of the football schools. The 1st 2 days of the BE tourney is a joke, double byes? triple byes? It's not the same at all.

It's not coming back. People would get far less excited for half the BE than they would for one of the 2 teams you listed above (1 of which was the 2nd sellout of the year a mere 4 days ago).

That was one of the biggest chokes I've ever seen. UVA was up 10 with 42 seconds to go and they lose by 7. Completely embarrassing.

Miami is much more talented than anyone gives them credit for. maybe its coaching, who knows. but when they feel like playing ball, they can play ball.

also, i think there is something to be said for the week long layoffs for the bye teams in these tournaments. almost every bye team in every conference has come out flat, with a few exceptions. hopefully Clemson continues the trend.

A Miami win pushes us back on the bubble? How does a matchup of a team that will be a 2-3 seed in NCAA and a team that went 6-10 in a down ACC have any effect on us?

Do you mean a BC win over Miami puts us back on the bubble? I thought we already established that BC wins today they are in regardless.
