I think we gotta root hard for VT. Bursting Clemson's bubble would be one less thing to worry about.

I don't like us matching up with Clemson at all. They are really athletic and play hard. VT doesn't scare me even though it may be tough to beat them 3 times in a season.

As weak as the bubble is, Virginia Tech has no business in the NCAA Tourney. They'll have to do some serious work in the ACC Tourney to have a chance to get in, IMO. It sucks too...it's a very real possibility that the ACC will get only four teams in. If Tech had won today, the ACC would probably get five at least.

I agree. I think we'd take Clemson on a neutral floor. Pretty tough to beat a team 3 times.

ACC will be 5 in if BC beats Wake twice. VT could make 6. If Clemson beats BC in round 2, Clemson is firm as team 4.

disagree on two fronts:

1) Clemson is a nightmare matchup for us.
2) A VT win would have knocked out Clemson barring a big run in the ACCT. So it would have been one less bubble team we'd be competing with to dance. Instead we now have 2 bubble teams in our own conference we are competing with. We now probably need 2 ACCT wins, whereas a Clemson loss today would have put us in with only 1 ACCT win.

Agree. VT is the odd-team out right now, not Clemson or BC, thanks in part to their 0-3 record against both.

I think BC needs 2 comfortable wins against Wake and at least a respectable showing against Clemson. Beat Clemson to get to 21 wins/ACC semis and I don't think we'll be sweating too much a week from tomorrow.
