If they remain insanely green hot from the outside 3 ball land, this team is a major tournament force to be reckoned with --- 39% for the season and very hot lately.

They may not go deep in players 7 -- (6 guys average 26-35 and one guy 10)--- and minutes but they have a great balance and play decent defense. They get into the West as a high seed and they many go to Houston.

Notre Dame is experiencing a major resurgence in all athletic men's and women's sports and has left BC in the dust except for Ice Hockey, ----and the past few years ---- even in Hockey, ND will make the 2011 Ice Dance. ND is 8th.

Up and down the NCAA website Notre Dame athletics is like Stanford in all sports for men and women. BC has Gene DeFilippo and the NCAA two signature sports Football and Hoops have suffered.

ND keeps shooting lights out and red hot from 3 ball land, and you can play great perimeter defense but stopping moving and great shooters who are green hot is very tough.

If I was ND, I would save some legs in the Big East Tourney wars and play some subs and bow out after one win --- and try and get the Luck of the Irish on St. Patrick's Day.

Your two best shooters hit 43% --( that is the norm)---and you take 35+ shots....and you get hot... ND might get to Texas.

Look at BYU, and TCU is horrible..

There is really no team BC can't beat if they remain red hot from the 3 ball line and stay hot and start well.

Look at the 68 teams? There is no dominant inside pulverizing team or hot shooting team?

My only consolation is that I have posted many many times, if you have a seed, lose in Round 1 and save those legs.

The Big East Tournament, ACC, Etc. needs to start on Monday and make it a Final Four.

The mid majors tourneys end the week before and rest and are fresh like horses in the Derby?

How many run the Derby Trial or Bluegrass and come back and wire the derby field fresh.

You watch tomorrow...huge discussions on how the tourney hurt the Big East and other teams.

If the ACC was smart, they would start the tourney on Monday and end on Thursday and have a weeks rest.

I bet we see changes and a better prediction that this one, or teams start the tankeroo.
