Come season opener March 17th this is a very thin frontline team, but this team with Stevie D. will make the sweet Sixteen and beyond.

Got a feeling BC will have two hot guards and maybe Stevie has some magic pattern for Trap, Southern, Raji, and the rest.

When you have two solid guards and a smart head Coach -----without the curse of the plastic white board Skinner "Etch a Turnover" now buried----if we can get hot, get lucky, play some teams in the Round of 16 who have a bad game, this team and this season could be a shocker.

Obviously, getting 10 guys to play 200 almost perfect minutes to get 4 games and advance to the Final 4 -- is a miracle, but when you have Biko draining 3's and Reggie's driving ability...you get hot...you can advance!

Personally, I love the optimism '74. Why the hell not? If we earn our way in, hopefully we get a 10 or 7 seed -- not the dreaded 8/9, which would have us needing to pull off an upset of Syracuse/Pittsburgh/Duke/Kansas in order to move beyond the first weekend.....

Time will tell. In the meantime, it's a hell of a lot of fun again, isn't it?

Pretty good crowd tonight for the students, at least judged against all the other games. The team is finally making some noise, at least around the freshman class. Hopefully, it will keep getting better, but who knows?

I do love what Steve Donahue is doing with this team and I think it is awesome that in his first year he is able to get a group of veterans to successfully mesh with a new style of play.

It's not out of the question. This team, when shooting the ball well, can beat just about anyone. The other side of that coin though is that they'll also be one of the strongest candidates for a 1st round upset. The wrong match-up could be devastating for them.

I hear what you're saying about the shooting percentage. But on the flip side, it speaks volumes that we can still win games against a tough out even when we're not shooting lights out......

This team should make the Final 16 and win 2 --minimum.

Experienced, guards have to be stellar....but once you win 2....you have ball handlers and SD....

This weak defense team has issues and the frontline has to play like it never has to win and go further.

Trapani needs to stay in the paint, especially if Raji is shooting 3's.

No matter...the 99.9999999% of the program's problem was solved with Stevie D.

Looks like 17-21 wins to me. Of course, we could beat anyone, but we could also lose a lot of these games. I only see three that I feel like we'll definitely win. Sure, Virginia isn't very good, but we barely beat them at home. VPI seems really up-and-down. They beat FSU and took Purdue to overtime, but lost to Virginia at home. I guess UNC is the same way, since they lost to GT.

If I had to guess right now, I would bet we win 19 regular-season games, win 1 ACC tournament game, and have a good run in the NIT.

If BC has a seed going in...I do not want them playing and getting bruised, tired and killed on the ACC weekend Tourney wars.

Season and Tourney are seeding tools...Ok you might move up some, but in BC's case most years it is not worth the trouble.

I drank the Kool-Aid and like a two year old horse who burst out and ran a 22 2/5 in the first quarter, BC ahs faded and faded badly.

BC will probably end up 17-12 and 7-9.

BC winning two in the Tournament would be a real longshot, or winning 1, and even winning two will make them 19-13 and BC will be bubble team that will burst.

Next year. Maybe Stevie D losing 8 Seniors can get to NYC in the NIT and end on a happy note and maybe generate some recruiting mojo with local Long island Schools and New Jersey schools.
