He's either being a classy leader -- not wanting to blame a bad call for the loss -- or it happened so fast that he couldn't tell. Once he sees the replay he'll realize the guy never actually touched the ball. It was ALL forearm to forearm contact. As '74 would say, "disgustiad..."

Too bad Reggie kind of disappeared from the scoring column for about 15 minutes. We needed a little more. But you can hardly complain. Others stepped into the void (Raji and Southern in particular).

Is it just me or is Rubin finding it much harder to get free in recent games? I guess teams are being more diligent in sticking with him.

I LOVED the half time analysis looking at Al's offense with 9 guys in the lane and then Steve's offense with nobody in the lane (offense or defense). So much more fun to watch with all of the lanes to the hoop.......

Can't wait for the Virginia game. With FSU, Duke and UNC on the other side, it's an important game for us......But then, they all are, aren't they?

The old saying of "games are never lost on a single play" is very true here. After having that 60-55 lead, they went comatose. They stopped moving the ball and everyone became a statue on the perimeter. Hard to score and win basketball games like that. The fact that the defense (what little of it there was) became an outright bull/matador impersonation in the last few minutes didn't help matters either.

This is another game that they'll file under the "ugh" category with Harvard and Yale if they don't make the tournament...

Losing to Miami on the road isn't as bad as those other losses. We partly screwed ourselves and partly got screwed by the refs. This is one we really needed but makes the game on Wed. night all the more important.
