Some poster on an Arizona board said he saw a report that Odom has narrowed his list down to Zona and Vandy. Now i looked around and havent seen any of these reports and chances are he is making it up, but maybe he had his mind set on BC before the visit, and he didn't really like it so that's why he delayed the decision. I hope that isn't the case though.


Nevermind, just found the source of the report, from a person who i'd guess is the site head. Now the guy could have a bad source and be wrong but i'm not as hopeful as i was on Friday.

The father of Long Island, N.Y., forward Rod Odom said he did not "believe anything has changed" regarding his son's recruitment after their visit to Boston College last weekend.

That could be good news for the Wildcats. Odom is expected to make a decision shortly from among UA, Boston College, West Virginia and Vanderbilt, having already eliminated Harvard last week because of financial considerations.

Odom met with UA assistant coaches last week in Massachusetts, where he attends the Middlesex School, and Rod Odom Sr. said his son maintains a strong relationship with all of Miller's staff members.

"Everything went well with them, and I don't think anything at Boston College changed that," the elder Odom said. "I think a decision is pretty close."

Odom said his son is now just going through a final process of contacting coaches and will likely decide this week.

I replied in the wrong thread - the one below this one had comments about this being skinners fault.

It's not Al's fault. He can show Rod all the pie charts in the world, but he still might desire to go elsewhere.

I dont understand Rod's thinking this whole time. if hes looking for early playing time in The premeir confrence in teh country then he should play at BC. its shouldnt be an issue of playing time or education. we have both. and if hes really who they say he is then he'll be starting in 2012 and a key in 2011

Besides Odom, If we get 2 miracles in Michael Bradley and Justin Coleman, Al will make the Sweet 16 with the wonderful flex....LMAO!!
