BC/Harvard-This Time We're Super Serial...Except Not Really

Fortunately the primary reason we're terrified of this game is playing 3,000 miles away in the NBA, but this is still an exceptionally dangerous game as they're approximately 248 times better than Yale. Better show up for this one...

There is no way we lose to Harvard again because of being ill prepared and unfocused. The "Don" won't let that happen. Harvard has played only one real decent team. They got blown out by UConn. They lost by 13 to George Mason and by 3 to Michigan (the only other two half way respectable teams that they've faced). I have to believe that the team will be up for this game and will want to exact some revenge.

GO :screamyeagle :screamyeagle :screamyeagle !!!

Georgia Tech just lost to UNC Charlotte in double overtime. After Harvard, we'll be facing perhaps the weakest team in the ACC (other than Wake Forest). We should have a golden opportunity of going to 13-3 and 2-0 in the ACC. Let's stay focused and play to our level, not that of a weak opponent!

I am assuming you are referring to Jeremy Lin who fortunately for us graduated. Harvard was never that great and a game we should have one but Lin could definitely play.

harvard is a major sore spot for gene. the don will turn the tables and orchestrate a blowout -- bc by 20+.

The Don would never lose to a middling IVY League team. Only Al would.

I'm submitting a request that the Yale loss be stricken from the Don's coaching record as it was clearly lazy elvis' fault. For any of you that think it's just a coincidence that the middle part of the word YALE is AL, get out from the rock you're living under and wake up.

Just how strongly do you believe this? The only thing that gives me a slight pause over the 10.5 spread is that the Don has been getting everyone into the games (like at SC) when the victory is pretty much assured. GO :screamyeagle :screamyeagle :screamyeagle !!!

I can't imagine we're going to lose to Harvard again....though if we shoot poorly and play bad D it's certainly a possibliity.

With no Jeremy Lin, we will win handily. That kid was the truth. China, or whatever, should totally recruit him for their Olympic team.

For the 600+ people in attendance tonight, I have to imagine the atmosphere will be very tight if things go even marginally wrong early in this game.

Me and the ladyfriend will be 2 of those 600 people.

The wildcard will be the student section tickets. BC is really good at selling those for super cheap - it may be the best attended non-ACC game because of that factor. It will be nice if the team plays in front of 5K tonight.

Good start - BC out to a 10-2 lead - don has them ready to play.

This is so interesting to hear the banter during the commercials and hear what they are talking about during commercials.

Sloppy and BC is way too hesitant to capitalize on obvious mismatches down low.

Southern fucking sucks. Hold onto the ball you oaf. 3 years in a row Harvard gives us problems. 2 different coaches. The players have some mental blocks about this team or something.

No excuses. Offense looks like dogshit. Can't break the zone. Can't stop Harvard (Harvard!) from getting to the rim on dribble drives. Play with some goddamn heart.

Wow, pretty dreadful first half after the first few minutes. I didn't think we could lose this game with China's finest off to the NBA, but now I'm not so sure.
