Hilariously, Tyler Roche is playing in this thing. The depth of BC basketball...FEEL THE EXCITEMENT!!

Also, Josh Southern has really slimmed down...

I actually think Tyler Roche could have been good in the Don's system. He needs to stay out on the perimeter and guard a smaller player but he could have been pretty good.

I loved the way our previous coach tried to play him at PF against Trevor Booker annually when we played Clemson. That was always fun to watch.

Trapani, Raji, Elmore, Jackson, Paris againsts Moton, Humphrey, Roche, and 2 walk ons to start

Very sloppy but a lot of dive cuts and kick outs for 3's. Elmore looks very strong finishing at the rim. They probably won't win much but they'll be infinitely more entertaining doing it.

Trap and Jackson are easily the best guys out there. Elmore is shooting the ball better this year. Other than that its basically been a cluster fuck of fast breaks and 3's. Stevie D mixing the rosters for the 2nd half. Moton looks like he might contribute some as well. Raji is really struggling with his shot.

FWIW Southern didn't play and was in street clothes...

Here are my thoughts after seeing the three quarters:

Jackson: Obviously the best player on the court. He is going to have a big year.

Trapani: Tons of effort and was a force on the boards. Shot didn't seem right today and he forced a few.

Raji: Was short on a ton of shots and didn't seem all that comfortable. (I watched him take a bunch of threes in the shootaround and was successful on a good amount. Didn't seem as confident with his shot in the scrimmage though.)

Paris: Overall played in control and handled the offense. Nothing spectacular but showed decent poise in the offense.

Elmore: Best defender on the team. Has improved his shot and still finishes well. Will be a solid role player for this team.

Moton: Made 5-6 good passes that I counted as well as a few stupid freshman mistakes. Overall, I think he can contribute this year.

Rubin: The best shooter on the team. Unfortunately he can't do much else such as defend, dribble, rebound. Physically, probably not ready yet.

Humpfrey: Is a really good shooter and can create on his own shot. Should be really good fit and addition in the offense for next year.

Dunn: Much of the shame. Will be a rebounder for this team.

Southern: Looked slimmer, didn't play.

Overall, I liked all the movement on offense. They were doing a lot of drive and kick drills during their warm-up so there will be a lot of outside shooting this year. Unfortunately, I don't know if we have the knockdown shooters to make us a contender this year. I hope I'm wrong.

I hear he's meeting a doctor on Monday to discuss surgery, a rectal save the jokes condition.

It's what I heard from my friend whose roommate is the manager.

I agree on the knockdown shooter problem this season. We could really use Humphrey's because he's that type of guy. I'm just excited to see what this team can do under the new coach in a new offense.

Sorry, eepstein. I'm having trouble telling the difference between you and h20 on the football board, these days.

I heard a similar thing from someone around the team except I heard that he's actually having the surgery this week.
