To be honest, I believe he would be a great fit in the NEC, MAAC, or one of those type of conferences. He can make an impact from day one there. The ACC is a bit of a stretch to me.

Watched a few of his games on youtube, can't say I was very impressed with his finishing, but I don't know enough about him. His stats suggest that he improved towards the end of the year.

He looks like a high level athlete. Although true, if the kid played with Kyle Anderson and no-one wanted to recruit him at a high major level, I really have to question why on earth BC is interested. TOS seems to think we're involved also. St Anthony's is an elite basketball school FWIW.

McManus seems to be an inside banger, concentrating on defense and rebounding; he's transferring in the fall from Bedford (NH) HS to Northfield Mount Hermon and (of course) reclassifying to 2015. He says he's looking for a college that combines academics and high-level basketball, so BC might have a shot at him. He's grown 2 inches in the last year, so he might grow 1-2 inches more.
Sistare (6'3" -- he might grow into a SF) is reported to be a good shooter and outstanding passer with (inevitably) a high basketball IQ. The obvious unanswered question is possible athletic limitations.

More kids with high basketball IQ?

Dammit, now I feel like I've been too much of a dick.

Look neither of us are getting paid to do this as a job. I take whatever information I have and make a conclusion. I was wrong, oh well.

Considering in all likelihood we're not signing any other 2012 recruits, Smyth would be just fine because reasonably we're going to struggle to find 7 or 8 players who can contribute.

Actually, Odio's HS video did look rather promising; what's really surprising was that the son of a coach was that clueless about the game. He might become a contributor yet if he can figure out what he's supposed to be doing on a basketball court.
