Not sure how much worse it could get, but this definitely won't help. Al is not secure in his job at this point and he has made it clear he does not want to be here. GDF has to fire him if he doesn't get the St. Johns job otherwise we are looking at several wasted seasons ahead. The class of 2011 is extremely important since we will have a number of spots to fill and I can't see anyone worthwhile coming to play for a coach who is clearly on the way out.

Noreen and Ndao are more the priorities to me. We can't afford to lose a scoring 6-10 forward and an athletic 6-9 small-forward. We need a 6'10 player who knows how to play basketball.

Noreen's ESPN ranking moved up and he is now the #34 PF and rated at a 92.

It was the Dirk Nowitzki comparison on none other than EO that got him there.

Rupturing your spleen will do that for you. I hope he's alright.

Bad Ass. Noreen kept playing with a ruptured spleen. This is what we need.

Noreen ruptured his spleen 2 minutes into the game. Finished with 24 points, 15 boards and 9 blocks.

The more I read about Noreen, the more I really hope he comes to play and doesn't back out because of the coaching change.

This is Donahue's first test with recruiting, we need to keep Noreen here, so make it happen Coach.

Sure, it will be a test, but I believe replacing 7 bodies in his first real recruiting class is the really important thing to focus on.

With 6 seniors leaving after next year, he can use the pitch of playing time to his advantage. Hopefully he gets his assistants together soon and start hitting the recruiting trail and bring in some top 100 talent.

My emphasis was on real important. It's far more important than keeping Noreen IMO. The only time I mentioned first was in saying it will be his first class. :D

Because I have seen him play. Think "MacFarland".

You and I might disagree on this one. I have seen him play a half dozen times. He is a very good:

* Shot blocker
* Defender
* Passer
* Outside Shot

Needs to put on weight, get some back to the basket moves and more hunger for rebounds. He is rated top 10 center in most every rating. He would improve our defense every time he stepped on the floor and the motion offense is tailor made for him.

I have seen him about the same. I thought he was terrible.

And you better be a damn shot blocker at that size playing those opponents.
