Is that the same Hoffses who said ATL was wrong in saying he is a preferred walk-on and has never changed that stance until RIGHT NOW when he decommitted???

Yes cause I am

But then again I can't wait for a 6'5 combo 2/3 to sign on in June!

There is always a reason why you may not land a recruit. However, a coaching staff's JOB is to convince you otherwise. While I think it is clear that Don & Co. suck at recruiting, it is more troubling that they don't go after kids once they are discovered by other programs.

I like Don as a person and he seems OK as a coach, but his underestimating the importance of recruiting (and his hiring of coaches without regard to their ability to recruit) is fatal. I'm done with his tenure. And, based on the attendance last night, I don't seem to be alone.

Hi,

This ain't Don's fault.

He's been forced to enter a gun duel with an empty pistol.
BC once attracted stars like Abrams, Adams, Agbai, Austin, Bagley, Barros, Bell, Curley, Driscoll, Dudley, Eisley, Evans, Huckaby, Jackson, McCready, Murphy, O'Brien, Rice, Smith, Williams, et al.

Those days are gone.

And who is responsible for that?

2014 SF Jalen Norman (Missouri) says BC is probably his leader.

Offers from BC, Creighton, Yale, Eastern Illinois, Missouri State and maybe Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma

Interest from Butler, Pitt, Colorado, St. John's, Illinois, Stanford, Baylor, South Carolina, Miami, Marquette, and more

His recruitment is very confusing. Partially because he reclassified and attends Quakerdale Prep

Interesting player: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoSmMB44GRk. Would bring some additional athleticism, which many have been calling for.......

Yes, he certainly fits in with the rest of Captain Gizmo's trainwreck of a recruiting strategy. That is further emphasized with his high level offers from Eastern Illinois and Yale.

Made all the more confusing because he is actually playing for Coffeyville Community College. He decided to go the CC way instead of the Prep year. Hoping to make the leap to D1 from there. Not blowing the doors off opponents with CCC but who knows......the mighty Red Ravens were 32-3 last year........

Norman will not be an eagle because:

1. Leahy
2. the black community hates us
3. chris crane
4. he's over 6'5

...no, but really. I'd prefer him over Farrell twice over. he may not get minutes with that logjam of Heckmann, Jackson, drago, Owens, Hicks, Hanlan at the 2-3 spots, but who knows.

EDIT: actually, I saw his game log for his community college team.. 23 minutes vs. a JV team? not to be negative, but uh, is Steve that bad at recruiting this year?

If Jalen comes to BC, I will root for him and TRUST THE STAFF, but...

Hey, 25, how can you omit Cain Carney, Perpiglia, Donahue etalfrom the list of tough incumbent talent?

See all the players you mentioned in that log-jam are terrible except for Owens and Hanlan. Don is going to try and play Norman at the 4 probably.
