Today's performance and a likely series-ending injury to Perkins likely means the Celtics have just pissed away their Championship chances. Refs didn't need to do a thing.

You should know better than to think the refs are out of this game yet. This will be, like all NBA playoff games, close at the end, but the Lakers will win. Easy money.

Agreed, with how awful the Celtics are playing and how Ron Artest is doing his best Lebron James impression out there, it doesn't make any diference. We just suck tonight, flat and simple.

The Lakers are playing the game of their life and the Celtics are playing really really bad though the effort is better. It's a 23 point lead Celts might want to start cuttin that lead soon.

If I were Rivers, I'd have thrown the whole team off the floor tonight and let Shelden, Daniels, Robinson, TA, and Glen Davis play the rest of the way. I would never have kept my cool in the locker room at halftime after that hideous performance.

I'd also note that the Celtics, despite being down close to 20, couldn't buy a trip to the free throw line with their entire payroll. Playing in the Staples Center eliminates Pierce's game.
