Corey Raji is having some kind of surgery

I'm "friends" with him on facebook. He didn't specify in the status what kind it was.

"Going to in to get my surgery tomorrow morning.. I know that God will be watching over me... but all i ask is that you pray for me"

I haven't heard anything serious, let's hope the "pray for me" isn't a sign that it's serious. Not just for the sake of the basketball team either.

I know he was playing with a hurt groin all year, but I don't know if that has anything to do with this.

I hope he does well with the surgery.

Have you guys ever seen "Rookie of the Year"? Kid falls, hurts himself, it reheals weird or something, then he can throw the ball 103 mph? He gets signed by the cubs, but then when the playoffs come around he somehow can't throw hard anymore so they win by using hidden ball tricks and lob pitches and stuff.

Anyways, maybe that type of thing will happen to Corey.

Corey falls, hurts himself, gets the surgery and then he can make layups. Averages 25-10 for the Eagles who end up being a 5 seed but in the Big Dance he can't make layups again and they win anyways because the other team all got food poisoning.
I like BC basketball.

Of all the ways to come out of the closet, making "Rookie of the Year" references on a basketball message board is one of the best. Kudos, sir. And I support you in your lifestyle.

Didn't Raji hurt his shoulder in one of the last few games? I can't remember which, they were all dogshit so now they are just blending together.

I prefer to forget that the end of last season even existed...pretty much past the UNC game.
