'74, how on earth would we ever get to your 7th game prophecy if the Lakers would be up 3-0 by your predictions to this point?

Fact of the matter is that the Celtics (in spite of their mind boggling decisions with the ball in the 2nd half last night), are in complete control of the series. I've always felt like the 2-3-2 is a huge benefit to the lower seed because of Game 5. In particular, if you get 1 of the initial 2 on the road, the series tilts dramatically toward the lower seeded team. Assuming the teams split the next 2 or the Celts win both, they'll have home court with a chance to either send the series back to LA with 2 whacks at the championship with all the pressure on LA or with a chance to clinch at home.

Everyone bitches about it, but it's a huge advantage to the lower seeded team. And in this case, the Celtics are benefiting and are in total control of this series.

Oh, as for Game 3. Celtics win large.

Agreed that 2-3-2 is a huge advantage to the lower-seeded team if they get 1 of the first 2. Celtics are in great shape now. Even if they can just take 2 of the 3 in Boston, they'll be going to LA with 2 shots to rip the Lakers' "fans" guts out.

I though the Lakers if I was betting would win in 4 since I thought Garnett is done and the Laker bench had more energy and hops.

I saw 11-2 and posted a great bet--now a loser..

I would not be surprised to see LA win 3 in Boston.

Pierce is off and tired, Garnett is looking his age and Rondo is tired too.

Now I want to see 7 games and it toied 88-88 and Pierce with 5 fouls and Kobe with 34 and then I ascend into Bolivian.

Winner of this game is likely (as noted by 74) the series winner. Unlike the rest, I see this as a close one, with the Celtics jumping to an early lead on crowd induced adreneline, and then tiring late. Lakers seemed to have figured out that you foul Perkins and Rondo late in games, so look for Rasheed to be playing in crunch time. I'm guessing the Celts defense holds on to a close lead -

Number 1 indicator of this game will be Andrew Bynum...He only had to play 2 games in 9 days, so he was given a lot of time to rest that ailing knee. With a cross country flight and only 1 day off between games, you would assume that should take some of the starch outta him. If he's limited, C's roll easy...assuming Lamar Odom remains in a complete coma (not a stretch).
