I actually disagree. All that is going to be said over the next 2 days is about how bad the Celtics were, how they got beat at their own game, KG is hurt/old, Pierce can't score on Artest, etc. and they'll use it to their advantage. They've also been fantastic in must-win games in these playoffs, so I find it hard to believe that they'll lay another egg in this one.

Not to mention Pau Gasol is already semi-shooting off at the mouth about KG being washed up (see: Boston Herald, too lazy to link) after 1 good game.

In the regular season, Lakers went over 100 points only once in their 8 games against the top 4 seeds of the East Conference (one exception being home against Atlanta).

When Allen started going off, they balanced it by calling nothing on LA and any stiff wind as a foul on the Celtics. When the momentum inevitably shifted, they started calling fouls on LA and not on Boston. A complete joke of a league, and an absolute embarrassment of the game of basketball.

The main problem is the lack of consistency. Baseball could be a joke in the same way, but most umps tend to at least be consistent if they call low strikes or inside corner balls. Basketball refs make decisions based on game situations and that just needs to stop. It's pathetic and annoying - especially in high stakes playoff games.
