Perk Can Play + Game 6 Thoughts...

Not sure if anyone saw, but the 2nd technical on Perk was rescinded, making him eligible for Game 6 tomorrow night. No word yet on the status of Glen Davis (doubtful) or Rasheed Wallace (probable). As for game 6...I think the Celtics are playing with fire. They played like they had Game 6 in their pocket and weren't super concerned about last night. Dangerous strategy. It would be almost poetic for them to lose this series at this point considering their pension for gagging big leads all season. If they don't win Game 6, they will not win Game 7. It's do or die now, and all the pressure is squarely on the C's in this one.
I think they get it done, but at this point I would not be stunned to see them gag this series away.

The Celtics have done well in Game 6's in Boston of series that weren't supposed to go their way. The issues are health, not intensity. I can see this as the game where they are completely focused and get the job done. Although Perk isn't suspended, I wonder how much of his head will be in this game and how much the Magic will try to rile him up.

This is the type of game that this Celtics team always wins at home. If they come out flat again, you'll know that they're fucked. I think they have one more big game in them before LA rolls them in the Finals.

Celts were supposed to blow out the Magic in Game 7 in Boston last year. Didn't happen. If Orlando's three's fall, Boston loses no matter what. If they don't, and Boston finally decides to BEAT UP Howard, I think the C's win comfortably. They need 18 hard fouls on Howard from Perk, 'Sheed and Davis.
