His accomplishments have been: 1) coaching Craig Smith 2) making sure everyone knew that Skinner wouldn't let him recruit and 3) getting a cab instead of racing Tim Welsh home from the bar.
Seriously, I don't know. He's supposed to be a go getter.

I mean, yes, I assume he's a nice guy and all. But the fact that his brightest mark on his resume is that he was an assistant during the time which was the downfall for Al Skinner shouldn't exactly get him a head coaching job, especially at a decent/above-average midmajor.

Timing and luck --two of the most underrated concepts with regard to hard work and a total lack of a resume or abilities.
