It means that Lower won't meet it's quota of Ben and Jerry's pints sold.

It means that I am shorting the hell out of Eagle's Deli stock.

If he's going to Fairfield, now would be a good time to buy low on stock at Firehouse Deli, Archie Moore's and the Sea Grape.

I'll buy Archie's, but Grape is overrated. (not that Rakim is picky when it comes to stuffing hig gob)

Agreed, but he's got to find someplace to eat where the ladies hang out, no?

I hope he likes pizza. He'll be driving distance from both Colony in Stamford and the places in New Haven.

I remember hearing Colony opened another branch (maybe in Fairfield, not sure) so Cooley might be in trouble.

Is that place Super-Duper Weenie (or something like that) in Fairfield? I always see the sign, but I've never bothered to stop.

Yeah Fairfield/BPT border area. Pretty good. Not as good as Hot Dog Annie's for those from the Worcester region.

Its not up to BC.

It's entirely up to BC. They can stipulate in his release where he can't transfer. If BC says no to a particular school then he would have to sit out 2 years before he regains eligibility. By that time it would be to late.

Yeah but BC can't dictate that he doesn't have to sit out a year.

You're right and they should allow him to do so. Truthfully he is doing BC a favor.

This is very disappointing. If Sanders had bought into what Coach D. is selling, I imagine he could have been a great force. Let's hope the staff can find some great players asap.

I honestly just can't figure out what he thinks he is gaining by doing this. Is he really that motivated by his desire to be a lazy shit? He is leaving the ACC and several games a year on national television to go to Fairfield? That feels like a good idea somehow. He is going to sit out a year and then play one year in the MAAC with a very limited chance of making an NCAA tournament. Why do that? Is he really that lazy? Regardless wouldn't a degree from BC feel worth getting.

Obviously, the BC degree wasn't a factor in his decision.

1) Yes
2) Agree with OJ, doubt the degree means anything to him. Didn't you hear of the influx of NBA players from Fairfield.

I know you are right, but that is sad. Pretty clear he is not NBA bound at this point. They generally frown on guys who hit the buffet harder than the boards. You'd think with 3 years down the degree might be a factor.

By the way that may be the first time I've seen the phrase "agree with OJ" on this board.

To be fair, it's not like he transferred to some chump school. He'll still be getting his degree from a good private college. And copious weenies.

You are correct and it was not a knock on fairfield, but I would think a BC degree could be more beneficial to him.

I wasn't disagreeing with you so much as pointing out that of all the options, Fairfield certainly isn't the worst, from an academics perspective.

talon {l Wrote}:how many years did Keith Willis, Jr. sit when he transferred from BC to NC State?

I don't know what everyone else is talking about... I'm talking about what talon posted. There are some rare occasions when a player doesn't have to sit out. Usually, it has somethintg to do with a family situation and almost always the former school helps lobby the NCAA to secure the kid immediate playing time.

It won't apply if he is going to Fairfield, but at the time I asked, it was thought he was moving home (Rhode Island).

1. So glad lazy ass is out of here. It's obvious Donahue told him he would actually have to work this year.
2. Not a big Firehouse deli fan in Fairfield. IMO overrated. Speaking of that side- Sunny Days and La Salsa were always the way to go. (A&S on the other side) That doesn't include super duper and Archie Moore's.
3. Colony is opening in Fairfield- Chris Drury started it.
4. I wonder if Cooley just gave him a list of the restaurants and said you can eat all you want. I'm sure Rakim can't wait for it.

La Salsa is a close second to Sierra Grille in Fairfield County. I think that Rakim is also excited about the High School Special (more likely the Godfather) at Garden Catering.
