Why would you sit a year jjust to play one year, instead of riding it out. I guess the running in practice was too hard.

Welcome to Clemson, Rakim!
First, we have a thread on this.
Second, Clemson??? I hope to god he transfers to Clemson because that would be he has terminated his college BB career. Any DI transfer requires him to sit out one year. Any transfer within the ACC is going to requiring him to sit 2 years. Rakim has one year of eligibility left and can still redshirt for a year. Sitting out 2 years (purusant to an intra-conference transfer) exhausts his NCAA eligibility.
