I have always loved Arkansas 40 minutes of hell and when Georgetown used to full court press and always wondered why Al couldnt (probably because he only played 7 guys and it would involve coaching)

Hopefully this was an effort to show how ridiculous this would be. The entire ACC makes the tournament. That makes the regular season all but irrelevant and the conference tournament might as well be eliminated. Won't that offset some of the extra money that would be made with 96 teams?

Exactly, and I would rather see the ACC make them money rather then the entire NCAA.

The time is coming for the BCS conferences to cede from the NCAA and right their own rules and keep their own money. NCAA is voluntary and congress couldnt do shit about it. Profits will skyrocket for BCS schools and the only problem BC would have is their hockey team which would have to be worked out. (you cant be national champions of a 12 team league)

The ACC is second only to HE as the best hockey conference in the country. Look at most NC's the last few years.
