I don't know of any ties to BC. However from 2000-2004 he was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Northeastern.

He was nearly shot one time, much like many of BC's former players.

Well that would be a certain departure from the laid back style..

His chief recruiter is Dalonte Hill who seemingly could sell ice to eskimos.

That's his tie. Maybe he looks back at his time in civilization fondly since being marooned in Manhattan, KS.

We're not a big-time program but that doesn't exclude us from attracting a big name coach. I've said it before, but by virtue of our conference, we are an attractive destination. If we will pay the money. We don't necessarily have to look for an up and comer in the mid major ranks, that's just more of our budget it would seem.

A unicorn abducts you right from your office and takes you somewhere, blindfolded. You wake up. You're in a room full of topless women where the walls are made of money. You take in the excitement, but realize you have to take a dump. So, you walk down the hall to the john, admiring the money walls on the way there. As you open the stall door and settle down you are surprised to find that you are shitting 24k gold. You pick up the gold, which is in no resemblance in smell or texture to turd at all, and wipe with toilet paper made of dollar bills. Don't worry, the texture is not rough and it does not stain the dollar bills, as solid gold does not stain. You wash your hands in the sink, which appears to be made of a solid block of diamond crafted into a faucet and sink. As you leave the restroom to go back to the original room, you are greeted by none other than Jeff Jagodzinski in the hallway sporting a BC polo, and he tells you that he is returning to BC to re-take the football head coaching job and that he has slain the mighty GDF. Shortly thereafter a waitress carrying a golden tray of ribs and Red Sox tickets warmly welcomes you to the open bar.

The chances of Gene DeFillipo making a hire like Frank Martin is about as likely as the poorly told story above happening to you.
I like BC basketball.

But can this Dalonte Hill character sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves?
