It's a joke. Relax. Skinner is going to find another job without any problem. He also got a 3 million dollar buyout, don't feel too bad for him.

Posted: Tue Mar 30, 2010 7:32 amI like Skinner, I didnt think he was a great coach (Still no inbound pass) and got lucky with Dudly and Smith. I wish he wasnt fired and left on his own but what can you do. I would have given him the extra year ala TOB.
That said, can we bring in someone super agressive, maybe someone from the Izzo tree.

Posted: Tue Mar 30, 2010 7:48 amI hope we find a coach that can go out and recruit like hell. We haven't had one of those coaches in a while, and its time to change the way we have "success." Making the ACC and NCAA tournament 2nd rounds isn't success. Winning the ACC tournament and getting deep in the NCAAs is success.

Really....not happening. I'll drive to Knoxville with Atleagle to help Pearl pack up his stuff if he wants to come here, but I highly doubt he does.

The article says he was told he was not going to be retained last Wednesday, but they were giving him a chance to get another job first to save face. No wonder his staff has been so quiet and Skinner hasn't been around since his interview.
