Good experience for 7 HS All Americans getting practice for next year and some valuable playing time.

Wouldn't be that surprising with Gene at the helm - you have to pay to play in the CBI, I believe.

We were supposed to be shipped out west (Washington maybe? I don't care enough to find the CBI bracket).

You do have to pay to be in the CBI. I wouldn't be shocked if we turned down the invite. We probably would have been sent out west to play against Oregon State or Colorado State. FWIW, I'm glad we turned down the invite it saved me another game of getting pissed off at Josh Southern and Biko Paris.

Isn't the new NCAA rule you have to ahve a +.500 record to play in post season?
