I don't follow the NBA in any way, but:

1. I thought trading in division was not a smart thing to do.
2. Again, don't follow, but IIRC Robinson >>>>>>House

Playing one-on-one, sure. But House is a much better option coming off the bench. He'll spot up and look to pop quick threes only when he can get an open look. Nate Rob likes the ball in his hands. A lot. And while KG and Allen aren't exactly lighting it up, it would be a mistake to try to fix the offense by introducing a log jam to the mix.

Also, I don't see how a 5'7" two guard fits into the C's defensive philosophy.

I have no clue how this will help long-term (unless Nate learns to not be selfish), but the Celtics will be running a ferocious fucking fast break when Rando and Robinson are on the court at the same time.

Edit: Also, when The Cs play Chicago in the playoffs, they'll have someone other than Rando to punch that elf Heinrich in the face (assuming Kirk isn't traded).

He won't. But he'd certainly be an upgrade over Eddie House. The Celtics need to turn Ray Allen's corpse/expiring contract into something more useful if they want to get past the 2nd round of the playoffs.

TW has no hatred of Ty Rice. TW would like to see the first PG at BC since Louis Hinnant arrive soon. TW doesn't enjoy watching BC basketball, win or lose, when one clown dribbles at half court for 35 seconds and then jacks a three.

Back to the point at hand (sorry). It looks like it went through. House + Walker + Giddens for Nate + Landry. I'm not thrilled by the trade, but I can't wait to see what happens when Nate and Rajon are on the court at the same time.
