BC - I'm rooting for BC and I'd be upset with a loss.

BC - I'm rooting for BC to keep it close. A moral victory would make me happy.

Don't really care - I'd be happy if BC pulled off the upset, but I won't be upset if BC loses because it will help the "fire al" cause.

Duke - a BC win at Duke would just mean the Al Skinner era will continue longer than I want it to (BC has to take a step backwards before it can take two steps forward.

If you're on the "fire al" bandwagon, a win at duke isn't going to help your cause.

Please add: "I am rooting for BC but would not be overly upset by a loss because my money is on the bad guys and I am frustrated with our round ball squadron."

Anyone here rooting otherwise isn't a BC fan. And if you're name isn't HustlinOwl or one of the yukon guys that frequent here, you disgust me.

I hope it's not a 72 second knockout.

Obviously, that quote shows my true confidence in the team but also reflects my casual everyman persona that people love.

Rooting for BC to win, not optimistic. What would make me upset is if they play like they don't give a shit (again).

Rooting for BC to win. How could anyone ever root for Duke?

Not confident, though.

What basketball team have you been watching over the last decade? We'll slow the game to a grinding halt, guaranteed.

I'm rooting for Skinner to get thrown out for arguing foul calls. This will then pave the way for Bobby Knight to rip off the ESPN headset, walk over to the BC bench, grab the white board, and coach the fellas home to victory.

Knight would be perfect at BC.

You ole some play on defense and you sit until you figure it out.

This team is a Mexican Bull Fight, without the Bulls.

Ole's every 35 seconds.

Is Knight a great announcer or what? I think people should have to pay for this kind of insight. I am TiVoing this so my kid can listen to him again.

and of course I am rooting for the Eagles. But if they pull it off, the bad losses just hurt more. If you just win the games you are supposed to, steal one or two that you are the underdog and lose a couple to superior opponents you get a 4-5 seed and and a decent shot at a weak first round opponent and a legit shot at the sweet 16.

The problem is that winning the games "you're supposed to" can be a 7-10 game swing depending on who you ask which ones they are supposed to win. For example BC's preseason spot was 9th place which generally wins 7 ACC games (15-20 games overall). That doesn't even get you into the tournament. Now add one or two you steal and you're looking at an 8-8 or 9-7 bubble team who is most likely in. NOT a 4-5 seed at all.

Not a chance in hell. They're about 50-50 to make the NIT at this pace.
