Tourney Stats

Postby BC2007 on Fri Jan 08, 2010 1:42 pm

I've been debating whether or not I want BC to beat Clemson or just tank the season so that Skinner gets canned. I figured I do some research into Al's tournament record. The results don't look so bad from an ACC perspective, but I'd like to think we can be a top 40 program. Since Skinner's first season (2001) as head coach, the following 38 teams have made it to the elite 8:

Kansas - 5

UCLA - 3
Memphis - 3

Clemson is very beatable if Al doesn't coach with his head up his ass. Roche needs to play vary sparingly as he sucks, and against a team like Clemson it gets worse. Southern and Dunn are going to need to play a lot and play well against Booker in order for us to win.

BC usually plays up to their "more talented" competition and down to their inferiors. So, I think the ACC schedule might be fine.
I like BC basketball.
