South Carolina simply isn't all that great and we should have the athleticism at the guard spots to contain Downey. SC won't like the slow it down tempo and offense which will make them frustrated. We'll probably build a big lead, SC will close the gap and we'll put them away the end similar to the rest of the 2nd half leads BC has nearly choked away.

Interesting to see if Al stays with the smaller lineup for good. Really interesting Mo Cassera interview after last game. Admits that Al does not like to make changes once he settles on a rotation, so it was a big deal for him to switch to a smaller lineup with Ravenel and Elmore coming off the bench first for better defense.

I would like to see BC stay with a small lineup, it would be good for Sanders particularly but don't think we can sustain it in the ACC, just don't have the backcourt. Walking it up and working the flex so Sanders can throw up a three is not a good use of his talent.

I completely agree with you on wasting Sanders talent, but unfortunately Biko is the only guy on the team with any sense of handle so it's pretty hard to get out and fast break.

I don't think UConn is currently enjoying the Lance Stephenson experience right now. The kid seems like a street thug, so I'm pretty glad he didn't end up at BC because we were originally in the mix but the kid can certainly play. I'm starting to see the reason why Al strays from some of these 5*kids, some of them are really hard to root for.

My least favorite lineup of all time (and I'm not advocating for Josh Southern playing) is Tyler Roche at the 4 spot against a big team. Brutal. Also, do we ever consider reversing the ball against the 2-3 zone?

Brilliant coaching by Skinner at the end of the half. Switches our best defender Elmore onto Downey winding down the clock and Elmore absolutely shuts him down and blocks the shot.

Let's Go Eagles! Looks like Al and the coaching staff are starting to take control of this team. I even saw a 3/4 court trap, loving it!
