True story: Al coached better last night (though Dunn should have played), the team didn't play with their head up their collective asses for a majority of the game. Again, I've told you 100 times I'm willing to give Al credit when he actually does a good job. Last night was much better.

South Carolina, after consulting their schedule, isn't all too wonderful with a home loss to Wofford so we should have a decent chance of beating them.

The GDF version of Bball OOC scheduling. We play no one, beat no one of importance etc. Look at the Duke, UNC, Kansas and Mich St schedules. They load up on tough teams to get sharp and better. Can we play one natioanlly reelvant team before the ACC season starts? I mean GDF is selling "success". We are 8-4 in Bball against NO ONE. This AD has to go with Skinner and Spaz. Clean house.

human nature. when you lose to a team you shouldn't lose to, then people get crazy. When you beat a team that you should beat, it's not gonna create much buzz. the big wins last year created a lot of threads. so did the michigan and miami wins this year.

Al's strategy in the Umass game was a good one. go small, play your best defenders, and guard the perimeter. let them score as many 2-pointers as they want, but don't let them kill you from 3-point land. (Mo Cassera's words, not mine).
