The free throw shooting in this game is hysterical...why bother taking the ball to the basket if you're not going to make them from the line.

BC did the same thing they did last year, they came in off 3 good wins and everyone was telling them they were good again. And like Corey Raji said "we thought because we had Boston College on our chest we'd win". And shockingly, or not, that isn't the case.
Is this the 5 o'clock free crack giveaway?

Three point play from Reggie. 69-67 Harvard going to the line, 36.6 remaining.

They do this a few times every year regardless of how good the team is. As long as Al's the coach it's going to continue to happen.

A few times every year? They have done it one of every 3 games this year so far. Fucking Al apologist. If Spaz lost a game even close to any of these 3 you would be screaming for his head. And what's your point, that we should settle for a coach that sucks?

We are the laughingstock of the ACC and Boston once more. Southern should not be on the floor. We have no depth. Skinner is horrific. Yet his apologists can relax because unless he gets caught on tape banging his German Shepard he will be here for life with the little guy down the hall. Really looking forward to seeing the sports pages in the morning.

But we are the ACC!

Hats off to Harvard. Better players and better prepared.

Just got back from the game and a couple of thoughts:

1. No excuse Al. That was incredible.
2. Why was Trapani sat for 7 consecutive minutes after lighting up the first half?
3. Where was the press at all this game?
4. Southern sucks.
5. Roche sucks.
6. Anybody getting on my back about Raji missing layups shut STFU right now, he missed 4 this game.
7. This team isn't good enough to take nights off.
8. If I were a working man I wouldn't spend my night watching this team play.

Its true. BC is a laughingstock. 2 years in a row to harvard is unheard of. But Al couldn't give a shit because he knows he is here as long as he wants to parade out there and pretend to coach and pretend to recruit.

This. Harvard was running constantly off inbounds plays, constant fast breaks. And what did we do? Press to slow them down? Force lower level ball handlers to make some moves? No, we let Lin run right fucking by us time after time for easy dishes to big men (who weren't at all big, but played bigger than Southern). Truly horrific coaching. My high school team would have been pressing in the first half.

I've never seen one team be so confused as to whether they were switching or staying on an obvious pick at the top of the key OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER...

I could dissect and fume about this game for hours. Instead I'm going to munch on a taco.
