Not that there was anything glaring but they didn't get a single call down the stretch. The Pitt guards do a lot of shoving off to get free.

Damn shame, they didn't give up, but they also put themselves in position to lose. Bad switches on D, kicking the ball out of the paint to poor outside 3-point shooters.

Thornton left too much time on the clock at the end.

Nice to see the team healthy. Hamilton & Rishawin played very well.

On the other hand, they have to look at reducing Derrick Thornton's minutes. JC also didn't cover himself in glory last night with some awful inbounds plays and whatever that last 4 seconds was for BC.

They ought to fire Jimmy MAC today and let Spinelli coach down the stretch. Start the process of hiring the next coach now and start the process of ushering some of these kids out off the program. This team is soul killing to watch.

It was the most BC thing ever to claw back and tie this game only to hand it away seconds later with the worst transition defense ever seen.

Why were they still pressing after they tied the game? Also, the end of game inbounds play was one of the worst play designs I've ever seen.

Largely agree.

Much like football, BC should be the #1 college hoops team in the state of Massachusetts every single year. It shouldn't even be a question. It hasn't been that way for more than a decade. When the recruiting sucks and the game day coaching sucks, you just suck. This needs to change and the Seniors shouldn't have to lose their final season of eligibility to a 14-16 season brought about by coaching ignorance. It was time to let Jimmy go years ago. There is no point letting this continue (even though we all know it will.)

Press was turning over Pitt like crazy. Regular D wasn't good. Plus they had no timeouts if I remember correctly, not sure you want to change d on the fly in tie game when you'd want the press if Thornton had missed.

it's fitting that in the view new posts screen this thread is next to the EBOLA thread because watching this team for the last ten years has made me feel like i have it.
