Are injuries becoming a bigger problem in basketball? Feel like Skinner teams were so healthy, but might be my memory.

Someday we'll look back at this season and laugh.

Makes sense on Pop.

They’re going to get crushed by ND

Surprising first half. Thornton decided to show up today and Heath playing well. Luka being Luka.

Only Christian can show we he should be fired after an ACC road win. What a pathetic finish.

Doesn't matter.

Biggest win on the road for BC since they knocked off 25-0 Syracuse team in upstate New York. Huge win, a monster. Well done team, well done Jim Christian. BC is #1 in the ACC (at the moment.) Still wont save Jim Christian's job.

He has to win a game after March 18th and it must be in the real tournament, not the "Not-In-Tournament" tournament. That is the only thing that will save his ass. And even that might not do it.

terrible breaking the press obviously but why is the officiating constantly so terrible in that building? 23-2 in not intentionally given free throws

good win, great to see heath back on track

Notre Dame was mediocre to begin with and with the injury to Carmody and the impending transfers they are absolutely awful. With that said, a win is a win and I guess being the third worst team in the ACC is an improvement from last year.

I was surprised to learn how long it has been since BC last beat ND. Good to get the win (especially after the hockey win over ND last night), although it felt like we were inevitably going to lose watching those last few minutes. Weird start to the year...5-5 (2-0)

Always glad when they win. But I think anything less than a NIT berth and JC is gone.

'We look at the whole body of work. We evaluate throughout the year, but I started talking with Father Leahy at the end of the season and we connected and we just felt like the trajectory that we were on, I didn't feel like we were making the progress competitively that we needed to. We want to be more competitive in conference and nationally, and I just felt with the total body of work that we, that it was time to make a change.'

BC has no chance at the NIT. They have tripped up so badly in OOC games that getting to over .500 overall would require winning their 3 remaining OOC games and going 8-10 in their remaining ACC games. Not gonna happen.

I tend to agree but the bottom of the ACC is really bad

Shout out to the ACC refs for a heroic effort keeping ND in the game.

The end was comical but a win is a win and there was some effort. :ace

coached by another man next year's team has some decent talent

G: Tabbs (SO), Heath (SO), Langford (FR), MAL (SR)
F: Rishwain (SO), Felder (SO), Hamilton (JR), Steff (SR)
C: Pop (RS?), Vander Baan (FR)

I don't think that will save him. Getting into the Not-In-Tournament "tournament" is not all that much different than going 6-6 and getting BC into Shreveport or wherever. That didn't save Addazio this year.

If the coverage Jarmond gets for the Daz firing/new hiring is positive it cranks the heat up under Christian’s seat a lot. If it’s negative (it won’t be because BC does extremely well in pushing our narrative to ESPN) then his seat cools down

Those Langford kids aren’t sticking around and you’ll get a bunch of transfers under a new coach.

JC is feeling the heat based on some of the media puff pieces his agent has thrown out

Keep Spinelli and the Langford’s stick around. No way the older transfers to sit another year and they want to play together.

Some of the fouls by BC at the end were a little ticky tack, but it wasn't the refs who weren't able to break the press or get a simple inbounds pass in. BC did everything in its power to hand that game over to ND.

When they fire JC I’m sure he can get a waiver.

People on this board way over rate the talent on this team.

I think the roster will certainly be respectable, but the challenge is rebuilding a roster after we blow it up again. It's taken us 7 years to get to a point where the roster doesn't look atrocious. With another mass exodus, I don't know that we'll find replacements all that quickly.

I'm wondering if it's worth removing a couple of assistants instead of JC and having a big budget to hire a couple of top assistants. JC is bad, but a rebuild is painful.

This same roster lost to a team who lost by double digits to Merrimack at home. This entire thing needs to be blown up and restarted with a real coach

I bet Langford comes regardless. Brother on the roster. Dad starting a basketball academy in Worcester. Lots of Under Armour connections.
