I think we are doing well because this arena is as moribund as Conte, which surprises me. The place was packed and electric the two times I have seen FGCU play there and the local oldsters seem to like basketball. Avery Wilson is terrible. Chris Herren Jr. is much better than Wilson and that says a lot.

FWIW, JC Reyes needs to start over Pop even when Pop returns healthy. Reyes fouled out but some of those were ticky tack fouls that would not normally get called.

I actually think Herren Jr has a 10-15 minute place on an ACC team. He can shoot and plays D.
