Robinson sitting out the 5 on 5 games at the combine - suggests he's heard something good

That should get us back into the 6 ACC win range. They could do better if:

- Mitchell learns how to shoot
- Popovic becomes more consistent & a better athlete
- The freshman are very good

Should know something on Hawkins soon. BC needs another party to play ball and I’m just not sure that happens

Everything says Hawkins chose to "forgo his 6th year of eligibility". Did he ever get the waiver from the NCAA though?

Jerry West is fucking senile. Robinson is going to suck and the Clippers are returning to the flaming garbage pile that they were for most of their existence.

Highest BC pick since? But thanks for putting things into your perspective DR/AT

JFC. Our first lottery pick ever and the highest pick since John Bagley in 1982, and people are trashing the pick and the player.

Like it or not, Robinson is on the short list of the greatest BC players ever. Show the man some respect. Huge for him and for the program. If he transferred out after the 0-18 season, our program would have spent the last couple years winless in the ACC.

Even for Dick, that was bad. Thirteen seems high, but I agree with Bilas - in time, he'll be good. He has great ball skills and is an excellent shooter.

Congrats to Jerome. Hope he exceeds expectations.

At the end of the draft, Rece asked Billups and Bilas which teams had good nights. Bilas picked the Clippers and said Shai and Jerome were really good picks.

Robinson could be a good pro, but that pick is atrocious.

I like the shade of blue of the suit and it fit well. Given that it's Clipper-colored, you have to wonder if he knew. The pinstripe vest is a little too much. One too many patterns. Solid effort on the green room outfit, kudos to the young man for avoiding being one of the annual sartorial tragedies.

Pat Reily days or not, there's legitimate questions about his defense in the NBA and whether he will be a liability there or not.

Unsure if the Clippers plan to start him in the backcourt right away, or be instant offense off the bench. I think he can be more of an impact player right away in the latter role, and the putting him in the former from the start will mean some growing pains, but could be good for him in the end.

I think it is funny when people use "defense" and "NBA" in the same paragraph (let alone same sentence).

The NBA plays a lot more defense than BC has recently.

jrob succeeded in spite of jimmy mac. any ill will should be expressed towards those that are still cashing checks from the school (and this includes those scholarship checks that have to be paid in cash and limit the department's available resources).

i wish him well and hope to read about him more at this website, as it's the only place that i ever find myself reading information about the nba

He would be more love if the team was doing well, but I dont think he is in my top 30 of favorites (not greatest.) Probably the entire starting 5 in '93 and 2006 teams are up there.

Totally agreed - didn't mean to overstate, and there's obviously some recency bias. He's not Bill Curley or Craig Smith. But Top 20? I think so.

He's top 20 in BC is somewhat relevant era (1965 or so on). I would put him 16 after these guys in alphabetical order. Huckaby, Marshall, Agbai, Hanlan probably round the 20, with Bowman a TBD. I may be missing someone from the 70s like Carrington, because I am biased to the post 1990 guys.

Reggie really only had one high-level year, and his college stats are less impressive than I remember. His game/athleticism just translated to the NBA really well.
