Coach Hurley hasn't aged well since he dropped 36 on us in high school, holy shit. He's 44 going on 64. His Dad looks better (and the same as he did 27 years ago)

Mostly just chalk so far, 11-1. I certainly hope that continues for the foreseeable future. I get about $1000 if my #2 comes through.

Buffalo is putting up a hell of a fight against Arizona. They are shooting well. That may be the only way they can beat the Wildcats, just shoot extremely well.

holy fucking shit, Buffalo

barring an epic Buffalo Bills-esque Super Bowl choke performance in the last 8 minutes here, its going to be an awfully somber day at work tomorrow. I got about 50 Wildcat alumni that I work with. They are going to show up for work drunk. The other 150 ASU grads will be laughing their asses off, all day

The game plan of stand around while our guards chuck NBA 3s and commit TOs was well executed.

I feel like every year the NCAA's direction to officials for the tourney is "call way more charging fouls than you usually do"

That said, day one officiating was pretty good, with little obvious screw ups and no really long pauses in action where they try to figure out what to call. So :shrug

I drink my fair share, and the month older than me that he is looks like 30 years.

He also sounds like a complete asshole:

Dan Hurley, the Rams’ head coach, is a self-described “f***** complete lunatic” who used to lose 13 pounds every year as the stress of the season eroded his appetite. He’s chilled somewhat, trading Red Bull for yoga, but the sailor’s tongue and demanding approach remains. All the emotion on the sidelines and at practice led one of the team’s bus drivers to worry about Hurley’s charges.

“We had a bus driver who didn’t want to be around us anymore, because he thought Coach Hurley was treating us bad, because of all the cursing he was hearing, all the name-calling,” said senior Stanford Robinson, per the New York Post. “But we’re so close to Coach Hurley, it doesn’t affect us in a negative way. If anything, it gets us better, and makes us push more.”

Learned that from the old man, old school Bobby Knight admirer.

I like Hurley. Having watched quite a bit of URI games this year, he is a good Xs and Os guy and has a good feel for the game. I really could care less whether he yells and curses and I think the fact that Millenials get butt hurt when a coach chews them out is another reason to hate them.

Honestly, the best coaches I ever had were the angry task master types. Fear is a tremendous motivator and it has been my experience that games are easier when practices are brutal. The few “player’s coaches” I have played for fielded teams that were not as good in the crunch and I think it was because they were never taken to the dark place where you figure out how much pressure you can take.

I'd also be fine with Hurley.

I can't see anyone at BC going for his act though.
