Despite another loss where BC looked horrible, this thread has provided some good laughs.

Oh and I still say Jimmy Mac should get sacked and will. He is slightly better than Donahue and this program isn't going anywhere under his leadership.

Finally BC starts out aggressive and has a 6-0 lead, but despite NCSt. not scoring a basket in the 1st 4 minutes, BC clanks a number of shots, including 4-5 3s.

Then, once the Wolfpack make s shot---it's a floodgate---what 13 consecutive baskets?

Tough to see Robinson injure his elbow---but great to see him return, albeit clearly hampered by the injury.

While Robinson still has issues defensively, to his credit he's been taking charges in recent games. Even took one with his injured elbow. Gotta give him credit for that.

Popovic has yet to settle down---and when he rushes so often as he has the past few games---he misses and turns the ball over badly. But he still manages to come up with decent numbers.

Good to see Chatman exerting himself a little more on both ends while trying to shoot his way out of a nasty slump, which he did somewhat in the 2nd half. When he scores this team has a chance to win.

Ky Bowman remains a total enigma. For a stellar athlete who was recruited by Alabama to play defensive back, his defense is inexcusably weak. How many times do players score right in his face? Farrell did a facial on him and Bowman never adjusted. Bowman has to lead the NCAA in that category---and yet all he seems to care about is getting the ball back into his hands, which recently means 22 second dribbling nowhere exhibitions that lead to forced passes or shots. The worst defensive play he made last night was late in the game when BC had cut it to 10 late and they force a miss but NCSt. gets the offensive rebound but well underneath the backboard and Bowman is standing right there and rather than trapping the rebounder out underneath the basket, Bowman stands still and lets the dude step right back to basket who then puts it right in---again right in front of Bowman's face.

Can anyone explain what is going on with Bowman? How can he continue to let shooter after shooter score on him without getting pissed off enough to do something about it? Why is he dribbling the ball so long and often out of control?

Plus, how can the coaching staff keep watching the shooters on the other team hit shot after shot? Yes, lack of depth is an issue---so why not mix in more matchup zone where they can overplay the shooters off the catch? Would really appreciate your thoughts, if you have the time. Thank you.

Don't get me wrong---I love this kid's talent and he seems like such a good kid---but he can't continue to play point guard like this on both ends and expect the team to contend for the tourney.
