Sooooo basketball Is back.

I'm excited to see if all the talk about Hawkins and Mitchell is legit. Also heard that Wilson didn't look too bad against Stony Brook.

Seems like we've got a nice 4/5 rotation with Hawkins, Popovic, Mitchell, Luka, and Reyes. And we know they have scorers. I can at least say we've got some reason for optimism.

It was not good until midway through the second half. I do agree, however, that it is better. Mitchell and the 40 year old guy can both play.

Thanks to the Flynn Fund I had free tix for this one so decided to take the kids. Tough for me to say how they looked given that this was my first game since Jared Dudley ripped Villanova to shreds in the final two minutes and I'm not a hoops guy. But they didn't look bad to me and it feels like this would be a game they would lose or have kept close in previous seasons.

We had two seats on the floor and I have to say Bowman is like a spitting image of Ryan Sidney in terms of on court demeanor (less pissing off the refs and slews of technical fouls). Even with all the free tickets for donor week the crowd was terrible.
