BC - Seton Hall Super Secret Scrimmage

Postby BCSUPERFAN22 on Sat Oct 28, 2017 9:11 pm

Rothstein and Goodman both reported that BC lost to SH 86-71. Was close at half, Bowman had 29 and Hawkins had 14.

Somewhere in the middle - Kenpom has Seton Hall at #28 and BC at #95.

Coincidentally, CBS also has Seton Hall at #28 and us at #99.

They're going to be improved and probably have their best year since 2010-11, but that may not be enough to save Jimmy C's job.

Robinson get lost on the way to the game?

You all would’ve signed up for 6-8 ACC wins this year and I still think that’s where we end up.

BC did all kinds of weird things in that scrimmage against Bryant that wouldn’t happen in a game

The only problem is that in year 4, Christian should be looking for a minimum of 10 ACC wins. 6 would double the wins in his first 3 years. :bag

id be happy with 8. We have 12 OOC games. Key is to go 10-2 (SEASON!) in those.

10-2 OOC
8-10 in conference

Would be hard not to be happy with 18-12

Apparently... so do stupid ones. There is no chance Jimmy is winning 18 games this year (or any year he isn't coaching in the MAC).

I don't see how he does it with this team, but the difference between where the team has been and 16-18 wins is very small. If the incoming players are very good, its at least possible. It's the next jump that is the biggest one.

18-12 basketball season = 5-7/6-6 football season

my comment had nothing to do with him achieving it, it only was me stating that i'd be pretty content if we went 18-12 (8-10). i don't follow the program closely enough to have any idea how feasible it is (i live under 5 miles from the school and attended at most 2 games last year)

i do hope they make me want to attend games this year.
