Well at least Jimmy Christian ain't going to jail

Or if he is going to be named in a second round of indictments, I want whatever school funds were spent bribing people to be clawed back, as we got nothing for the expenditure.

Also, you have to hand it to our fellow Eagle Bruce Pearl, his programs are always finding new and creative ways to cheat. I wonder when Chuck Persons rolls on him.

Sadly it looks like it was only Nike and Adidas caught up in it. KD was right in that nobody wants to wear Under Armor, even if you pay them.

Running such a clean program in a sea of filth likely earns Jimmy Mac another year.

BC might make the tournament next year by default when there aren't 68 other eligible programs after the shoe company reps flip and give the feds everything.

Seems Tom Jurich and Rick Pitino both just got fired at Louisville. Presser at 1pm.

With all the turnover this year in assured to occur in college football, hard to imagine Petrino being there next year.

I think they are both assholes and would hire them both because they win.

On that note... Bruce Pearl (who is getting in trouble via Chuck Person before ever really winning in Auburn) just lost Player 4 from the indictment.

I saw a report that said Jurich was asked to fire Pitino and he refused to do it so they both got shitcanned together. Fitting.

Not like Jurich was going to survive much longer anyway.

Jurich's daughter was hired by Adidas right before the contract was signed. Jurich was definitely out.

So does all the turnover hurt or help BC get a good candidate if Christian is fired this year?

Can't imagine good coaches would want to go to a school that might get sanctioned or the death penalty but some up-and-comers (non-MAC) may still see the opportunity as to good to pass up (see Penn State football).

I think it is more realistic that Jimmy "Mr. Clean" Christian gets poached by a one of these programs who are seeking someone they are 100% certain doesn't cheat.

I'm saying all these events do is confirm in Leahy's mind that his stance against college athletics is justified. Accordingly, much to Leahy's own chagrin, Funishment's avatar pic likely won't be changing to something glistening anytime soon.

Jimmy Mac is sitting in his office with a sharpie and a copy of the media guide ready to cross off Ls from vacated wins.

That's funny. I'm sure he'll polish up the CV with his new record and ask Jarmond for an extension while he's at it.

Leahy is laughing up his sleeve over this. You can't blame him. This is exactly the sort of thing he has always worried about with big time sports. This case will make a dozen careers in the FBI and a dozen more in the AG's office. That's why it will grow and grow as these guys try to nab as many high profile people as possible.

Poaching guys who go 0-18 in conference doesn’t happen. That or you missed the red text

Speaking of jail, I was impressed that the POTUS decided NOT to leave half of the UCLA hoops team there.

Okay so you are the head coach of the Bruins, the pride and joy of California college basketball. You have to drive down to LAX to pick up those 3 numbskulls who Trump just "bailed out" of Chinese jail, so to speak. They were suspended indefinitely. What would you have done with them?

I’d have left them to die in a Chinese prison camp or traded them for the moron father—whatever his name is. I think the world would have rejoiced to see him die in a Chinese prison camp.
