Go SHU! They ended up in Greenville, SC (To tell you the truth, I didn't even know there were games by us - thanks BC Basketball for my no attention to hoops attitude!) I would love to see them play UNC. It was so exciting watching Seton Hall play in the Big East Tournament. Now I'm all in for the Pirates!

I'm kinda pissed that all the 5/12 games are on Thursday. I took Friday off to watch the tournament and those are some of the best games.

I don't have a dog in that fight, so I will root for The Hall along with you. That will be one of the few games I won't be watching for schadenfreude. I can't wait to root against TRE and his binky Creighton Bluejays.

Everybody's saying that Carolina has a bye to the Elite Eight, but Seton Hall has played well down the stretch and ol' Roy loves a good 1 v 8 choke, so I think Sweet Dee is on to something here.

I think Cooley would be able to recruit really well at BC, he's (relatively) young and black and those two things go a long way. With him selling the ACC to kids, I think he would instantly upgrade talent. Not to mention, as bad as BC's facilities are, PCs are worse (for now, they're starting to build soon) and he has still recruited at a level much higher than JC or Donahue.

Hes not a great X's and O's coach, but I think he would be able to recruit at a high enough level to negate his deficiencies and he understands all the BS around college athletics in terms of dealing with donors and all that nonsense. I think he would be great for fundraising around the program.

Part of the problem with Cooley, aside from the Skinner association (which idk if it would even be an issue now) is the money you would have to pay him. Ive heard PC pays him around $2mm a year (possibly even higher) and despite having moderate success at PC, he has still only won 1 NCAA game (out of 4 straight trips) and never got to the tourney at Fairfield. You would be paying a lot for a number of question marks. I don't think he is married to PC, even despite all his ties to the area, and I know he has not totally alienated BC as I've seen him at multiple football games the last few years, but you could definitely do worse in a a next head coach.

his tourney record is atrocious, he isnt a good coach, and the big east is nowhere near the acc in terms of ability.

he would be a step up, of course, but that isnt saying much.

he also gets people who cant spell into the school.
