Kim Anderson is leaving Missouri.

They have a guard signed named CJ Roberts who is the type of guard this staff loves.

Jones is also gone at LSU.

BC has poked around down there before in recruiting and they have a combo guard committed who's a Top 100 kid.

"Corporal Funishment's Rank the Players by Perceived Likelihood of Transfer"

"How much do you care about playing time" category

1. Meznieks - actually probably gets Owens' minutes next year barring 2 more frontcourt additions
2. Reyes - probably Pop's backup for 3 more years
3. Sagay - this one would make me very unhappy

"Sneakily possible but would be big surprise" category

4. Turner - if he feels Sagay and Chatman are going to eat into his playing time

"Really can't see it" category

5. Popovic - there would have to be something going on behind the scenes
6. Chatman - kid wants to get his law degree

"If they're not here next year it won't be because of a transfer" Higgi memorial category

7. Bowman
8. Robinson

-------

I predict without especially high confidence there will be 1 transfer and it will be from that first group

I actually agree with glacier.

Unless they get 2 late PFs, a PG and wake Turner up out of his sleep, this team is going to suck balls next season.

This team is going to suck either way.

Looked up Marfo's stats. Underwhelming relative to my expectations

I never really understood the Chatman hate. He's not starter but he can play at this level, which is more than most of the team.

I don't like that he's the oldest guy on the team but looks like a freshman out there.

I am being 100% serious when I say Meznieks could get you more than 2 points a game in the A-10

I did not watch GW at any point this year, I have no idea how they used Marfo

It's a sad day when UMass is willing to eat dead money on a coach and BC is not.

To the PG point, Tremont Waters from Notre Dame West Haven in CT just asked for his release from Georgetown. Maybe he sees writing on the wall for JT3.

Obviously not a great situation for a top end PG with Bowman proving he can play the position in the ACC, but its relatively local and Spinelli has been poking around ND-West Haven lately for other guys. :shrug

With Bowman and Robinson here, there's no chance a Top 100 PG will come play here. I'd be fine playing 3 guards and putting Turner on the bench, but it's not happening

a top 100 pg that has an assists-to-turnovers ratio of greater than 0.5 would be a fool not to come here where his talents at point guarding are so desperately and obviously needed

bc was 189th in this stat for 2016-2017 season

besides - those two will clearly be in the nba before this top 100 starts he sophomore classes anyway

They should, but they're not moving Bowman off the ball

What if we announced that Bowman had a botched surgery at St. E's and will never play again?

Why is it that the same people who say we have no chance with Mamukelashvili on account of the fact that Vander-bloody-bilt offered think that the coaching staff is exhibiting incompetence by not making a serious run at Tremont Waters, whose "final 7" included Duke, Kentucky, and Kansas

Yes, we need another guard, no, no high profile players are going to come to a team that fulfills both conditions where there are such obvious roadblocks to starting immediately and the team stinks out loud

There's gonna be another guard and another 4. I don't know if they will be freshman or fifth years. Maybe there will be another 5

Tom Crean fired.

Incredible that JC has a job he doesn't.

I know he inexplicably got an extension, but any chance the new AD fires Christian? Just the opportunity to talk to Crean would be an upgrade
