Papa Commits!

Per ESPN he is our highest rated commit. This looks like a pretty good class.

This is great news....He is very similar to Odom in the sense that he is a tall and long perimeter player...ESPN seems to be pretty high on him, plus we just got the best name in College Basketball....PAPA SAMBA NDAO

The team is going to be very dangerous next year...10 guys coming back and we add depth/shooting at PG with Helsip and Length at the wings with Noreen and Papa

There seems to be a lot depth on the wing, but we are still too small on the inside. Could really use a tru big man.

His high school media guide. He really loves his grandmother. Fascinating.

Thanks for the link. Interesting school - very small though. I saw in another thread that he only averaged 8 ppg. Is that true? If so, what are our realistic expectations here? I assume his HS league due to the size of his school (400) could not be that strong. I cannot recall a low HS scorer who became a major contributor at BC. I know we have recruited scorers at times who could not duplicate their HS record (eg, Tyler Roche). So far, Heslip appears to be the best looking recruit. With huge Catholic HS talent pools like NYC and Philly nearby I don't understand why we aren't more successful there.

You assume wrong. Actually look at the talent coming out of that school in that link, and get back to me. If you don't know the names, stop talking.
